Yep, you read that right—a date. With you.
A few weeks ago, while Matt was in North Carolina, I decided to wrap up my solo time with something special: a dinner date with my best girl—me. 🍽️✨
I thought about inviting some friends, but they already had plans. And instead of bailing altogether, I remembered something important: I could go anyway.
Alone.
And honestly? It was powerful. I took my journal, had a beer and some breadsticks, and truly enjoyed my own company. It reminded me how good it feels to choose myself.
So this week, I’m inviting you to do the same.
💌 Here’s your challenge:
Pick something you love doing—or have been wanting to do—and put it on your calendar as a date with yourself. No errands. No multitasking. Just you and what lights you up.
Need ideas?
Coffee + a journal
A solo picnic in the park
A bookstore browse (maybe even leave with a new book)
A movie (get the popcorn, the candy, all of it)
A walk at the zoo or botanical garden
Dinner at your favorite restaurant (or one you’ve been wanting to try)
This isn’t about “fitting it in”—it’s about prioritizing you.
Yes, there’s probably laundry to fold, emails to answer, other people to take care of.
But this week, you have one additional important thing to do: take yourself out.
Tell us what you’ve got planned in the comments—we’ll be your cheerleaders and your accountability partners. 💌
With love,
Leslie
